Renowned Watercolour Artist Jean Haines has announced that she will be holding her first virtual exhibition Positive Vibes on Friday 1st May

Known for her magnificent watercolours that are inspired by Jean’s travels around the world show an infusion of Eastern and Western styles that have inspired her artwork.

We’re thrilled to have Jean collaborating with The Frame Gallery in this new way. All paintings will go live on the website on the evening of Friday 1st May for a private ‘virtual’ view. To see the available pieces you can also view a dedicated album on our Facebook page. During the evening paintings will be marked as sold live.

Jean says “In China, the sunflower is considered very auspicious. It is a symbol of happiness, perhaps aided by it’s yellow colour that signifies vitality”

I am delighted to share my new watercolour collection in this exciting online exhibition. Art carries the power to lift our spirits, lighten our mood and bring a sense of joy into our lives. In this new collection, I am also releasing art from my best selling book “Atmospheric Flowers in Watercolour” including the popular cover painting “Sunflower and Bees” a favourite painting of mine. I believe that colour is beneficial to us in a way that should never be taken for granted. My positive and joyful collection is shared in the very unique times that we are currently living in. Never before have we needed colour in our lives so badly. I hope you will find these paintings a breath of fresh air. Each piece carries a part of me, inspired by nature and beauty in life around us.

All paintings from the collection will be available to purchase on our website whereby delivery of your one of a kind piece will be arranged. Should you wish to collect, this can be arranged once lockdown is lifted.

For any questions or queries regarding the evening, paintings and purchases please call Jan on 01256 701082 who will be more than happy to assist you.
