“I’m at my happiest when I’m in my studio surrounded by canvases, pots of paint and brushes. I studied Spacial Design at The Kent Institute of Art and Design, but after 2 years I decided it wasn’t for me so left college and began a career in travel; working on cruise ships and then working as cabin crew where I’ve been for the past 17 years.
I continued to paint for fun and for friends over the years but in 2010, after attending several art classes, I was persuaded by my tutor to fulfill my life long ambition and become a professional artist.
I now have a website and exhibit my work at local galleries and take commissions. I enjoy working in pastels, oils and acrylics.
I paint most subjects, but my first love is painting animals, capturing their character is very important to me so when taking on a commission I ask for several photos to work from.”
