One of our recent framing projects was this lovely vintage silver nurses’ belt buckle, bought by a customer as a congratulations gift for her daughter, who has recently qualified as a nurse.
During the consultation, we recommended a smart blue suede backing to complement the colour of a traditional nurses’ uniform, along with art glass to help reduce reflections and a stunning frame which complements the colour of the buckle.
To make the gift even more personal, we added a folder to the back of the frame so our customer could include her own message of congratulations, alongside the original purchase label, which dates the buckle to Birmingham, 1902.
A thoughtful way to celebrate such a special achievement and create a keepsake to treasure for years to come.
