Cheryl discovered art fairly late in life.  She took art ‘O’ level a year early at school “to get it out of the way” and subsequently put down her pencils and paintbrushes to concentrate on other things.

Fast forward 45 years, in France and encouraged by a friend to accompany her to an art class, it was a lightbulb moment…….and that’s when her exciting journey began.

“I feel so lucky to have rediscovered art.  I have met and been inspired by the most fabulous and talented people and it never fails to thrill me each time I exhibit my paintings – and then find somebody likes them enough to buy them.”

Cheryl is a member of the Cross Barn art group in Odiham, Fleet and Farnham Art Societies and still paints regularly in France.
