Art with a quirky style

Gary creates fantasy coastal and marine themed scenes, with a whimsical style heavily inspired by the works of Salvador Dali. He started his career as a graphic designer painting for his own enjoyment to get away from his desk and was able to focus on his art full-time when he won a publishing contract in 2004. Much of Gary’s work depicts the shoreline of the English south coast, bringing us landscapes we recognise whilst playing with features and ideas to create new stories we want to explore.
