Joyous and Contemporary

Working from her home studio in the South Downs, and concerned with the loss of natural habitats for many native garden birds, Heidi’s paintings have a sense of the dramatic.

She creates fresh, vibrant paintings of groups of birds, each placed centre stage against a background of beautifully saturated colour. Foliage and habitat are suggested through textured, abstracted forms whilst focusing the more intricate detail on the birds themselves.
