Lisa’s work is about colour, mark making and pattern inspired by nature, wildlife and the natural world. From her garden studio in Hampshire, she paints nature and wildlife, working mainly in oil as she loves the richness of the colour and the soft texture it can create.
Lisa is fascinated by colour and the illumination created by light. Each painting is a new journey, never really knowing quite where it will take her until it is finished. She enjoys playing with paint to discover colour, texture and light and exploring colours which bring a picture to life.
Lisa is a self-professed outdoor person and an animal lover which is portrayed in her work. Her work is exhibited regularly and has won awards. She is a supporter of wildlife charities raising money from her paintings, which have sold in the UK and overseas.
